Fremont Street Experience - 06/24/2021 (Day 8)

The girls had so much fun exploring the strip on their first day in Vegas, they wanted to go back. So we went and parked at the MGM on the south side of the strip.

From there we walked over to New York New York Casino.  Like the Venetian, the girls loved how the ceiling in the casino looked like a sky and the walk ways looked like a city.

We continued walking north on the strip and came to a mall that had an Oxygen bar.  My wife had a headache and we thought it might help her.  While she was getting some oxygen, my girls saw some men getting water massages.  They thought it looked fun and asked if they could get one.  We had some time to spend, so we let them.  They said it felt so cool.

After the oxygen and massages, we had an impromptu lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.  The girls had never been to one before, so this was a lot of fun for them. They loved the decor in there and the thunderstorms every 22 minutes.

After lunch we went back to the room to chill out before heading to the Fremont Street Experience. I had made a reservation for the girls to jump out of SlotZilla and zipline down Fremont Street at 5:00 p.m. They loved doing that. Anything that involves heights and zip lines make them happy.

After Slotzilla, we headed over to the Container Park to grab dinner. I had told my family how cool the Container Park was. However, it looks like COVID killed the Container Park as many places in there were were closed. Still, the girls had a good time playing with Lego like building blocks with other children in the park while the wife and I enjoyed some adult beverages and watched the Habs/Knights hockey game on the big screen.

After having Mexican for dinner and then walked back to the Fremont Street Experience area. We got there as the band AlterEgo was playing. They are a favorite of mine on Fremont Street.

While AlterEgo was on a break, I got to watch the Fremont Street Experience screen which was amazing.  I got a video, but it is too big to post in the blog.

After all this, the girls were exhausted, so they didn't last long before we went back to the hotel for the night.

One of the places I have always wanted to visit was the RV Hall of Fame and Museum in Elkhart, Indiana.  I know it sounds silly, but I have...
