Birthday Celebration on the Strip - 06/25/2021 (Day 9)

Saturday was my wife's birthday, but she already had plans to go out with a friend that night.  So we booked her a reservation at the Sugar Factory on the Strip on Friday night.  Before we headed there, we parked at the Venetian and walked over to the Sugar Factory.  The girls love watching the boats go around the Venetian.

At the Sugar Factory, they have amazing drinks and milkshakes there. The food is great too. Everything is so over the top. Everybody had a blast at dinner and ate so much.

They even did a sparkler birthday ice cream for my wife.

After dinner, we departed and went to walk the Strip some more. The girls wanted to see the Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel and the water show at the Bellagio. They also wanted to get their picture taken with some of the girls and feathers on the Strip. So we set out to do this.

The first stop was by Treasure Island to see the pirate ships.  I told them about when I was a kid, those pirate ships would do battle nightly and it was fun.

Next up was a walk by the water at the Mirage....a totally beautiful sight!

As we walked past the Mirage, the girls found some feathered show girls they wanted their picture with.  These were the classiest looking of the bunch.

After that, we went to Caesar's Palace shops to see the fountains and shop a little bit.

After Caesar's we made our way down to the Bellagio to see the fountain show.  The girls loved how high the fountains blasted and how good the mist from the fountains felt in the 105°F weather.

After the fountain show, we went across the street so I could get a drink from the Tipsy Robot.  Although it is way overpriced, it was a good drink and it was fun to watch robots make it.

I dropped the family off to explore the Paris hotel and walked back up to the Venetian to get our car. By this point it was pretty late in the night and the girls were exhausted, so was back to the hotel and everyone crashed early.

FINALLY Visiting an Elusive Museum and Coming Home (Day 16)

One of the places I have always wanted to visit was the RV Hall of Fame and Museum in Elkhart, Indiana.  I know it sounds silly, but I have...
